It's Okay To Beat Your Wife!

Let me start by saying it is okay to beat your wife in COMPETITION not physically (or vice versa *cough cough Callie)

This isn't really a blog as much as it's a call to action! I was excited that my wife and I just fell into this blogging thing kind of organically. For one we were starting this new awesome adventure together, and it also seemed like people were actually interested in what the heck we were doing. So we figure what better way to document our adventure than by writing it down. What I wasn't ready for was the natural competition that my wife and I suddenly found ourselves in. Because with blogging comes people that read your blog, so instantly the question is "which author are they reading the most"!

It seems every day we are checking to see how the blog is doing, not caring as much if anybody reads it as much as which ones are they reading. I have always been the writer, and Callie the reader. Anytime creative writing has to be done Callie has always tried her best to pass it on to me. Yet Callie reads a lot. No seriously she has read a lot!!! So she understand fully what makes writing interesting, and what structure it should take on. So little did I know that hiding deep in the depths of her endless talent bag was an author. So now not only is she writing as much as I am, it is one of her blogs that has the most reads! This is not okay and it needs to stop! So for now on if you catch yourself reading a post that my wife wrote, you owe it to society to also give one of mine a read. It's only fair, and her beating me means a lifetime of having to hear about it.

So let's not make that her reality!
